Billions of dollars are spent each year around the world, monitoring and attempting to control one of the most complex problems of our industrial world – photochemical smog.

A decade of painstaking research has lead Graham Johnson and his CSIRO team to formulate a radical new concept of smog. In collaboration with MCI, an Australian manufacturer, they have produced AIRTRAK, a new smog testing system which will revolutionise smog control.

AIRTRAK can predict smog build-up, providing an early warning of dangerous levels; it can track the source of the pollution, sniffing out offenders like a technological bloodhound. And it can act as a planning tool, predicting the smog potential of proposed industrial developments.
