In this special edition of CONNECTIONS, Dr Keith Boardman talks to Richard Eckersley on the implications for CSIRO of the McKinsey study and the changing directions for the Organisation.

Dr Boardman talks about the management of science, the changing role of Divisions, and gives his view of CSIRO as we approach the year 2000.

The interview was recorded on 5 August 1987 at Dr Boardman’s home in Canberra.
