SIROFLOC (1983)

This film, aimed at a specialist audience, demonstrates the revolutionary SIROFLOC process for water treatment.

Animation and bench-top tests explain the principles of the process, and then the film looks at the commercial-scale plant at Bell Bay in Tasmania.

The process has many advantages over conventional water treatment methods. It is a simple system which re-uses its magnetically-charged flocculating agent, and does away with the usual sludge-disposal problem.

SIROFLOC is the first new approach to water treatment for many years.
