The CSIRO People Award

This award recognises significant contribution and excellence from individuals and teams in the areas of workplace safety, wellbeing, diversity, inclusion and leadership.

2024

Awarded to the Indigenous People team for outstanding contributions and organisation-wide impact in their work to double Indigenous employment and create a workplace where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have the mutual support and connectio to foster thriving careers in science and research.

Awarded to the Data61 Diversity Growth Hiring Campaign Team for developing an innovative and unique strategic hiring approach to increase diversity, inclusion, and female leadership across the Data61 business unit.

Awarded to David McCallum for safety leadership over twenty years, providing sustained commitment to the management of critical safety risks in multiple projects as an active HAZOP leader.
